Should We Call Newspapers "Adpapers?" Just came across this interesting footnote in Cincinnati v. Discovery Network: Fn 16: Some ordinary newspapers try to maintain a ratio of 70% advertising to 30% editorial content. See generally C. Fink, Strategic Newspaper Management 43 (1988). For the AJC (Atlanta Journal), the Sunday edition is nothing but a big wad of ads, coupons and flyers. Here at GSU in our paper with their relatively low writing staff, I noticed that majority of the paper this year is ads and articles from U-Wire.
