Feds to Warn About Tuna Consumption
The Washington Post today reports that the FDA is planning to warn Americans that: "pregnant women, nursing mothers and even those thinking of getting pregnant to limit their consumption of tuna as part of a broad advisory concerning the dangers of eating fish and shellfish with elevated levels of harmful mercury." Last week, the Post reported that the White House and EPA were working to "undo regulations that would force power plants to sharply reduce mercury emissions and other toxic pollutants, according to a government document and interviews with officials."
