THE STUDENT BODY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA THROUGH ITS ELECTED MEMBERS OF THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:

 Whereas, many students of the University of Georgia study past midnight.
 Whereas, students would benefit from a safe and quiet environment to study in past
 midnight.
 Whereas, no current University of Georgia facility is accessible to all students for studying
 purposes past midnight.
 SGA (I 1-03J
 BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
 The Student Government Association on behalf of the student body, requests that the University
 of Georgia Main Library remain open until 2 am, Monday through Thursday, during two trial
 weeks during the Fall Semester of 1998, to assess the number of students utilizing this service
 and to obtain information for the purpose of evaluating the extension of Main Library hours
 indefinitely.
