Section B. Membership Selection An application and interview process shall be held during
 the first half of the fall semester to select representatives. The current Freshman
 Board, with the aid of the Student Government Association's Internal Affairs
 Committee, shall be responsible for producing and distributing the application,
 interviewing applicants, and selecting the representatives. At the interview level,
 applicants will be thoroughly informed of the expected commitment if chosen.
 Selection is based on high school activities, application essay, interviews, and
 potential for leadership (not necessarily in order of importance). A minimum of 9
 members and no more than 15 shall be selected.
 I . Selection Subcommittee The selection process shall be overseen by the
 Selection Subcommittee. The subcommittee will be made up of equal numbers of
 Freshman Board and Senators. The Freshman Board may have as many members
 on the Selection Subcommittee as desired, provided the Senate is given the
 opportunity to have an equal number on the committee. The Selection
 Subcommittee will be chaired by the President Pro-Tempore, and the members of
 the Selection Subcommittee will be proved by a simple majority of the Senate.
 Subcommittee members will each be given one vote and will be considered as
 equals regarding the selection of the Freshman Board. The ekact details for
 selecting the Freshman Board (rounds of interview, applications, resumes,
 selection criteria) will be decided annually by the Selection Subcommittee.
 Participation in the Selection Subcommittee will require a serious time
 commitment and 2/3 of the Selection Subcommittee will have to be in attendance
 for the committee to operate.
