It is with keen interest that the Student Government Association has observed the formation of a host of different minority organizations come together to form the Minority Student Alliance. We applaud the efforts of these organizations, and hope that their unification will enhance the ability of issues facing minority students on campus to be heard and addressed.
The Student Government Association formerly endorses the formation of the Minority Student Alliance. SGA supports the goals that this unified body hopes to accomplish. SGA wishes to support the MSA in its negotiations with the University Administration on issues of pro-active change in campus policy with regards to Minority Students on Campus.
