THE STUDENT BODY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA THROUGH ITS ELECTED MEMBERS OF THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:

 Whereas, it has been with great interest that the Student Government Association,
 on behalf of the University of Georgia student body, has been made of
 recent changes in the annual Homecoming Activities; and,
 Whereas, 707 members of the student body polled responded that they were not
 pleased with the Mr. and Mrs. BuIldawg title; and
 Whereas, 348 of those polled responded in favor of a return to a female student
 recognition process; and,
 Whereas, a plurality of those polled supporting change responded favorably to the
 title homecoming queen.

 (SGA 08-04) BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The Student Government Association endorsesthat the All-Campus Homecoming consider these opinions when planning future homecoming competitions.
