The Student Government Association, in order to further its role as voice of the University of Georgia student body and strengthen its resolve to represent the best interests of these students, asks the University System Board of Regents to pay particular attention to the results of the recent survey concerning the quarter system. The results showed sixty percent of the sophomores surveyed favored the current quarter system to the proposed semester academic calendar. We ask the Board of Regents to heavily weigh student opinion in further discussions on this topic.
