HOMECOMING LETTER RESOLUTION

THE STUDENT BODY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA THROUGH ITS ELECTED

MEMBERS OF THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION DOES HEREBY

RESOLVE:

Whereas, it has been with great interest that the Student Government Association, on behalf of the University of Georgia student body, has been made aware of a letter written by the Presidents council opposing the lack of democracy being exercised by the All Campus Homecoming Committee; and,

Whereas, we the Student Government Association have been involved in a debate with the All Campus Homecoming Committee over the Homecoming recognition ceremonies; and,

Whereas, the Student Government Association respects the President's council because it represents a wide variety of student opinions.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The Student Government Association officially endorses

the President's Council letter to the All Campus Homecoming Committee.
