Order of Business
Meetings will be held in room 137 of the Tate Center every
Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. until all committees have been
firmly established. After committees have been established, the full Senate will meet every other Tuesday
where all committees will present a report.
Mr. Tom Cochran, Assistant to the Vice President of Student
Affairs, was recognized as the interim faculty advisor
to the SA.
Howie Manis was recognized as the University delegate to the
Student Advisory Council to the Board of Regents (SAC).
Chris Cockfield will be the first alternate delegate
to SAC. The second alternate delegate will be chosen
by a screening committee consisting of three SA Senators.
The recommendation of the screening committee will be
sent to Dr. Dwight Douglas for approval.
The University has a student liason to the Athens City
Council. A screening committee consisting of three SA
Senators will be formed in order to choose and present
a candidate to Dr. Douglas for approval.
TV6 SA Senators will be members of a screening committee
that will recommend candidates for the Allocations
Committee. The Allocations Committee consists of five
students and five members of the faculty.
Applications for these various positions will be made available on March 7. Selections of candidates will be
made on or around April 1. All candidates must be
approved by Dr. Douglas.
An~"'iEleCtions Committee was formed to study how the SA~'should
fill the vacant seats existing in the Senate. The`~
V Elections Committee members are: Natalie Smith, Todd

Jay Biles.
