A Bylaws Committee was formed to write a set of bylaws to be approved by the full Senate at a later date. The Bylaws Committee members are: Dennis Prickett, Ludger Bruening, Kelly Reeves, Carter Sturkie, Scott Starling, and Lane Haley.

An Appropriations Committee consisting of William Cantrell, Phillip Foil, H. Michael Gelfand, Kelly Curran, and Karen Tarlano was also formed.

Various suggestions and ideas were discussed as to how the SA should operate. This topic will be discussed in more detail at the next meeting.

It was recognized that Robert's Rules of Order will be used to conduct meetings of the Senate after the SA becomes more firmly established.
