If the members came to the Athens/Clarke County Commission meeting last Tuesday evening, then they were considered present, even if they did not make the 6:15 p.m. meeting at the Tate Student Center.

Mr. Cochran discussed the process for choosing one person for the Athletic Board of Directors from the three nominees submitted to them by SGA.

Richard passed around a resolution he drafted for SGA regarding the Pi Kappa Phi pamphlet. It was discussed by all executives and decided that this resolution should be put before the senators for a vote on Tuesday evening, October 13, 1992. It was decided that this resolution is a good statement for SGA to stand on. Andy and Jay agree with this resolution and will support it before the senate.

William voiced the question, ")Nbat impact will SGA passing this resolution have on the judiciary system at the university for this fraternity?" He felt that SGA should not try to influence the decision on how this fraternity should be dealt with.

Mr. Cochran felt this resolution is not making demands on the judiciary process, but commending the university for its action. We must affirm one another by saying this behavior is unacceptable, but not demand any sort of punishment, rather leave the judiciary process to run this course.

Ashley felt that SGA shouldn't stir up the fire more. The judiciary process is handling this problem and it should be left in their hands.

Mr. Cochran feels SGA should not remain silent on this issue. You do not want people to speculate on why we are silent. Secondly, SGA should help incorporate and reach out to minority students.

The article published in the Red and Black on SGA's low minority representation was also discussed. John and Richard want to work out a way to get more minority groups involved with SGA.

Ashley raised the question of how do you go about incorporating more minority groups with SGA.
