include suggestions for changing hours of operation and the addition of a new van. A recommendation was made by Dr. Coker (in that meeting) to form a student safety force. There will be no committee meeting will be held this week, but next week's meeting will be Wed. March 10.
Jay also commended Senator David Hong's initiative to meet with Asian American groups on campus.

President John Bradberry apologized for being late. He was addressing the A-CC commission concerning the resolution passed by the senate last week.
John reminded the senate about absences and announced that attendance at committee meetings will be counted.
John also announced a forum to be held by the A-CC concerning the alcohol tax.
He also addressed the continuation of the petition drive and the sign up sheet was passed around to the Senate.

Andy thanked the senate for their patience while the amendments were being read. He announced that William Perry is seeking input on the amendments to encourage changes to be addressed before the next reading to prevent a long meeting.
Andy also announced that Dr. Knapp will be addressing the Senate next week.
Alex Panos asked for better notification of changes in meeting times and working petition drives.
