Adam Goldstein informed the conu-nittee that on Tuesday evening the Senate will be divided into groups and given two questions. They will have twenty minutes to brainstorm and then they will present their suggestions to the whole Senate. They will also need twenty minutes to answer the question, "What are the major problems of the students on campus?" He also suggested having a leadership retreat about one week after the Senate Meeting on February 16, 1993. This committee needs to accept change to make this organization better. The whole membership needs to be more involved.
John Bradberry announced to the committee that two weeks ago he met with Dr. Knapp regarding appointments to various conunittees on campus coming from SGA. I am on my way to discuss this with Dr. Coker now.
Andy Vanlandingham stated that William would like to have a first reading of the Constitution on Tuesday evening.
Adam Goldstein informed the committee that the meeting will start at 8:00 p.m. and end at 10:00 p.m.
Andy Vanlandingham informed the committee that SGA has reserved room 154 every Monday from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. for Executive Meetings. He also stated that he will have a copy of the new phone list for everyone on Tuesday evening.
Brian Cartwright, liaison with the Athens/Clarke County Commission informed the committee that the Commission is about to address the smoking issue, i.e. a restaurant must provide a certain amount of space for non-smokers/smokers.
