Old Business - None.

Leigh Christi Smith told the executive committee that the Academic Affairs Committee had composed a bill to be put to the Senate. It is a bill that should be included in the By-Laws on Teacher Evaluations. This way, it will be available to next year's SGA Senators and won't be just passed and then forgotten. She suggested that a senator should visit with each dean and tell them what SGA has passed and decided to work on.

Jay Gemes told the committee that he feels the only thing that should be discussed during this special meeting on Tuesday evening is the Constitution. He didn't feel that a special meeting should be called and then have a regular meeting.


Richard Martin told the committee that he just wanted to give a report and not discuss new business.


William Perry suggested that for the reading of the Constitution, that Ashley Disque explain to the Senators that there must be a first and second reading of the Constitution before discussion or any changes can be made. After the second reading of the Constitution, then we can debate and make changes.


John Bradberry suggested that for next week's Senate Meeting when Dr. Knapp will be present that everyone should wear formal attire.


Andy Vanlandingham announced again that the executive committee needed to decide on the Agenda for the March 9th meeting - - discussion was held and the Agenda was decided.


William Perry asked the committee to decide on the excuses for Tuesday night's meeting (March 1). 1 would like to know if I will be excused or unexcused. It was voted on and William Perry's absence will be Excused. It was decided that in the future the executive committee would decide on all absences and take the necessary steps if too many unexcused absences occurred.
