Those in attendance were John Bradberry, Jay Gemes, Ashley Disque, Andy Vanlandingham, Leigh Christi Smith and Richard Martin.

T'hose absent were: William Perry.

Jay Gemes discussed the SEC's seating arrangement of students. We have discussed the issue and no one really has any strong feelings about whether the band should be left where they are, or should they be moved and students seated where the band is now.

Andy Vanlandingham brought up the fact that the band has easy access to the field now - they don't need to climb over people to get to the field.

Jay Gemes stated that either the UGA band or students will get this section.

Mr. Cochran stated that he feels that eventually the band will be moved and there will be a buffer of students between the band and the season ticket holders. The season ticket holders pay full price for these tickets and it is annoying to have the band right on you. I feel that within a season or two the band will be moved for this reason.

Jay Gemes informed the committee that he has taken his Escort Van Proposal to Dr. Coker and he is just waiting for his call.

Mr. Cochran informed the committee that Julie Mickle and the Freshman Caucus has chosen Taylor Publishing to publish the 1993 Freshman Focus. He received a memorandum from this committee informing him of their decision and the reasons for this decision.

Richard Martin announced that Holly Harrelson will be absent from the Senate meeting on Tuesday evening (3/9/93) and he read her excuse to the committee. Her absence was voted on and "excused."

Discussion was held on how many times a bill must be read to the Senate before it can be voted on and the Constitution was read and it was discovered that a bill must be read to the Senate two times before it can be voted on. Before a bill goes to the Senate, it must pass
