SECRETARY'S REPORT - The minuites will be in everyones boxes
by Friday mornings at 12 noon. If you have any questions or

COMMITTEE REPORTS -
INTERNAL AFFAIRS - nothing new
ACADEMIC AFFAIRS - Clinton and his committee are working on
class mergers, the on line registration which should be in full
effect by this summer, changing the application a plus minus
grading system, the changes in hour requirements and the Honor
Code. Clinton has met with some administrators and the Honor
Code is well on its way. The last big project is the Teacher
Evaluation forms and Clinton would like some outside help from
other committee members. Just talk to him. Telvis announced that
at the Univerity of Arkansas they use an A-F scale to rate the
effeciveness of their teachers, text, and notes. So please help
Clinton if this interests you at all.
STUDENT LIFE - We are working on getting a mirror placed on
E. Campus at Reed Hall, informing everyone about the new debit
card that will be in full effect within the next two years, and
the I'm driving progam. A letter to Coke asking for percentage
costs of coke to bars has been written. The last thing that we
are working on is getting the handicapp bus service running on
Sundays since service is offered to other students.
ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS - Sent out surveys to teachers that
teach environmental classes and got their opinions on issues that
should be pursued. The results were so good Dr. James Porter
asked John to lecter Spring Quarter on environmental issues.
Last week someone suggested we start a recycling program in the
Greek system. If anyone has any connections just let John know.
CULTURAL AFFAIRS - Greggory Higgins spoke on behalf of Kimbley. They will be introducing a bill later to have a Cultural
input day.

OLD BUSINESS -
Andy Vanlandingham SAC will be November 5-7. We are hosting
the 100 annual conference. We have 12 delegates they are : Andy
V., Ron, Telvis, Julie M., Stephanie Ware, Gregory, Kimbley,
Scott, Kim Barrow, Lynn Sullivan, and Rod. All volunteers and
delegates need to meet here at Tate Friday at 2:30.
