Clinton Austin asked for clarification as to what exactly Better Relations Day is. Mr. Cochran gave some brief history explaining that Better Relations Day started after some animosity between Alabama and Auburn fans at a football game caused the games to be suspended. The Alabama legislature mandated that they would reinstate the footballs games on the condition that each school would have to take control of their fans conduct. As a result, the schools began this Better Relations Day. Since then Georgia and Florida during the 80's found need to have one between them as did Georgia and Auburn and eventually Georgia Tech. The main idea is to modify student conduct at the football games which may help to influence all fan conduct. There are other benefits to attending Better Relations Day such as learning other schools traditions, getting new ideas, and gaining a greater understanding for each other. Some discussion was made about who besides Telvis would be attending the Better Relations Day at the University of Florida on October 1 Oth and 11 th. Julie Mickle expressed an interest as did Kimbley Puckett. They will check their schedules and let Telvis know. Mr. Cochran stressed that closure is needed as soon as possible on this matter.

Telvis asked for any other business. There was none.
