Staff members in attendance were Tom Cochran, Adam Goldstein, and Miina Shukair.

SGA members present were Telvis Rich, Ron Jones, Jay Genies, Hope Alexander, and Julie Mickle.


There were no absences.

Telvis Rich opened the meeting by asking for any feedback on the first Senate Meeting last Tuesday, September 21st. Comments were made as to the good turnout. Mr. Cochran stated that he was pleased to see that there were several people who were not senators at the meeting. He also commended Telvis and Ron for their conduct of the meeting, and felt that we got off to a great start. Mr. Cochran then congratulated Julie for her election to Protempore. He feels she will do a great job, and he has already received several favorable comments on her Freshman Focus.
