stated that after two unexcused absences from senate meetings the senator will be formally charged by the President Pro-Tempore and if the accused desires a hearing, a 2/3 vote of all student government association senators shall be necessary to decide if the accused shall lose his/her office. After more discussion it was decided that another announcement would be made that attendance is mandatory, but that if an absence is necessary, the excuse forms must be turned in to Julie by the specified times or else the absence will automatically be considered unexcused.

Hope Alexander asked how she should handle people coming in late to senate meetings. After some discussion, it was decided that the senators themselves would have to be responsible for letting Hope know what time they arrive at the meeting. Otherwise they will be counted as absent.
