SGA’s New Website is Online
Class Evaluations, Institutional History Database Now Available Online
· UGA’s student government association announces the posting of its new website: www.uga.edu/sga
· The website includes:
· The entire UGA payroll budget. Salary information for every UGA employee—faculty, graduate TA, and staff is included.
· The Key: Online grade distributions for UGA courses.
· The allocation of the student activity fee.
· Information on security deposit law, including brochures from Georgia Legal Services and all the Georgia statutes on security deposits.
· An Open Records request how-to, including links to RCFP’s Tapping Official Secrets.
· The administrative structure of UGA.
· Information on teaching evaluations.
· The 1998 and 1999 State of the University Addresses.
· Professional standards on student affairs administration, including
· The Joint Statement on Student Rights, the seminal document on professional standards in student affairs administration.
· The Presidents' Fourth of July Declaration on the Civil Responsibility of Higher Education, a 1999 document authored in part by past UGA President Charles Knapp.

· The website includes the new Institutional History Database, a 14,000 word, searchable index of SGA documents dating back to 1988. Every SGA resolution, agenda, and minutes document available is included in the Institutional History Database.
