Articles detailing how Sprint PCS Lies about their service:

In 2000, the New York State Attorney General sued Spint PCS for misleading advertising. Sprint settled, agreed to change their ads, and paid a $100,000 fine.

Fast Company published this article that details one person's attempt to deal with Sprint PCS. "The company has access to every conceivable technological helper: the Net, automated phone services, and the most-sophisticated call centers. And yet, my own experience dealing with Sprint PCS has been consistently aggravating. In eight years of having BellSouth provide our home phone service, I've only had occasion to talk to them three or four times. I've talked to Sprint PCS more than that since Halloween -- always with unhappy results.

"Sprint PCS knows the right thing to do. It just can't do it...

Sprint PCS wins Better Business Bureau's lowest rating! 2700 complaints filed against the company in 3 years!. "Dropped calls or no calls, constant busy signals and recordings that tell you 'all circuits are busy'-- these were the anecdotes of Sprint PCS users we've interviewed over the past three months."

"...BBB has received complaints alleging disagreements over this firm's service..." Better Business Bureau Report details cellular no service. To view the report, browse to the Lexington Better Business Bureau, and search for "Sprint."

"The Fort Worth BBB has received complaints alleging disagreements over this firm's service, billing practices or promised rebates and refunds. Specifically, complainants allege dissatisfaction with service as represented by the company, or length of time for billing adjustments, refunds or rebates. The firm responded to complaints by making adjustments or offering an explanation of its position in the matter.

"The National Advertising Division (NAD) and that BBB requested substantiation of this company's claims regarding its free and clear plan and nationwide network. Sprint agreed to take into account our concerns about its nationwide network claim. Further, NAD agreed that Sprint had basically substantiated its free and clear claim. NAD and Sprint were requested to further review the nationwide network claim based on complaints filed with the Fort Worth BBB. This matter is pending.

"Locally, the Bureau has received complaints alleging disagreements with the company over repair, contractual obligations and service. While the company has responded to some complaints, it failed to respond to at least one other complaint brought to its attention by the BBB."
