If
you have already signed up with Sprint PCS, you can
alert authorities to the company's really crappy
service.
- In
April, I sent a complaint
to the Federal
Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer
Protection
requesting an investigation and enforcement
action against Sprint PCS for engaging in unfair
and deceptive practices. In the complaint, I
allege that Sprint PCS' advertising misleads
reasonable consumers to their detriment. You can
sign
on
to this letter too and send it to the FTC! Just
copy and paste the text into your favorite word
processor, edit relevant parts, add or delete
text, and send it to the FTC.
- You
can send a complaint to the Federal
Communications Commission Wireless
Bureau.
It's easy...there's an online
complaint form.
- You
can send a complaint to your state attorney
general. State attorneys general are often the
most vigilant protectors of consumer rights.
Here's a list of state
attorneys general
offices.
- You
can send a complaint to the Better Business
Bureau. The complaint
process
is now online.
- You
can send a letter in support of Representative
Anthony
Weiner's
(D-NY) Bill
that would require wireless service providers to
publicly report network holes, dropped calls,
and outages. The wireless providers collect this
information, but they won't release it to
consumers.
- The
SprintPCS-sucks.org
website contains a whole host of links for
complaining about Sprint PCS
service.
- You
can protest at your local Sprint PCS store.
